Writing for Summer Fest 2012

Hola internets! I am busy busy busy getting ready for the Summer Fest Interview Series over at PrettyRiot dot com. If you don't know what Summer Fest is, it is a nice sized music festival that happens in Houston...obviously every summer. The festival includes big names (Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson are among the performers to be this year!) as well as almost every local band gets to perform too. A wide spectrum of music over 2 days. It hasn't been around for too long but has grown immensely in those few years. And for the past two years, this being the third, I have interviewed many of the performing artists and local bands and featured them on PrettyRiot, the parent blog to this one. This year is no different, except that I am just a teence behind on the whole process! A whole lot of time and energy this week will be dedicated to that. Either way it is an exciting thing to be able to interview the bands that will be performing and to get to know who they are looking forward to seeing perform.
